“Prairie.Jan1.2023” 2023

Prairie.Jan1.2023… was a continuation of a new way of working that I wrote about here and here.

This piece is a direct response to my intrigue in how the myriads of light affect and change the nature of the prairie from morning to morning, season to season. 

Prairie is woven at 8EPI with 12/12 cotton seine twine for warp. Weft yarns used are EPiC, Array, and Weavers Bazaar.

Size is 18” wide by 18” high.
