First tapestry woven on my S-loom (loom Steve made for me). Woven from January 9 - 28, 2018. We bought some land adjoining ours in early 2017 with the makings of a pond on it. Apparently, 100 years ago, there was one there. My husband loves this pond and has been nurturing it to grow, so my first weaving on the loom he made for me was of his pond.

Roughly 10” width, 10” height.

8EPI with Nina yarn from Stacy Charles yarns. It took me a few weavings to admit this yarn for warp was less than ideal, but I didn’t have anything else at that point. Weft is woven with various (mostly knitting) yarns and embellished after. It’s a bit crude, but I learned a lot and love it for what it is.
