f you’re a tapestry weaver in the US, you’ve probably heard of the new tapestry yarn form Gist Yarns, “Array.” It’s made in the US and ticks a lot of boxes in what we tapestry weavers are looking for in a yarn. I’ve been sampling with it for a while now and am loving it.
The Array Packs I’ve put together come in 1 ounce or 2 ounce packages. With the exception of Black, White, Natural, and Daffoldil, the packages either have four small windings (“cakes”) of .25 oz or .5 oz. There’s 840 yards in 1 oz (3360 in a pound) so that gives you approximately 210 yards each for the .25 oz packs and 420 yards for the .5 oz.
